Final Checklist...Practice Begins March 12
|
- Apparel orders have now been turned in and our Nike reps aer processing them as we speak. We have asked for them to be delivered by March 9th, in time for the beginning of practices. If you did not get the required items, you will need to provide a solid pair of black and a solid pair of white shorts. These double as practice and game shorts at the Fresh-Soph and JV team levels.
- Meal and Sock money has been turned in by many, but I suspect, not all. Please see that it gets turned in by our March 1 deadline if not sooner. Again, here is the order form. You are not required to purchase these, but if you don't please know you will be on your own/your son will be on his own for food at away game after a match, and you will still need to provide a pair of red, a pair of black, and a pair of white socks (preferably, but not required to be, Nike).
- Each player needs to have the following forms current and on file prior to practice; links are available on all except for the Medical card.
- Code of Conduct
- Athletic Physical
- Concussion Form
- Medical Card: Blue card can be picked up from Coach Brinkmeyer, Athletic Office, or from Athletic Trainer, Jill Hendricks
- A listing of players and the forms that need to be completed has gone out via email; If you did not recieve it, please let me know at: lmmenssoccer@yahoo.com
- If you are buying new cleats, I would suggest you buy molded instead of replaceable shoes. Replaceable shoes typically only have 6 "studs" and are meant for wet fields; molded have more "studs" and are more universal for our needs. Molded cleats have evolved, fyi, some are still round and look like the popular candy DOTS, but many styles now have longer, narrow cleats. Picture Here
- If you are buying new shinguards, please make sure they have this 'brand' or label on them, and that they are made for your height. Referees have been known to be nitpicky about this and have disallowed athletes from playing because of improper equipment.

Parent-Player Meeting Notes
|
|
The time has come and gone for our annual pre-season meeting for all of our players and parents. This was the only meeting we will have for everyone. Everything from here-out will be diseminated here on our website or through email notification.
At the meeting we discussed expectations, our handbook, ordering of required and optional items, and deadlines and timelines. You can see the slides from the meeting HERE. Please make sure to see or contact Coach Brinkmeyer if you were unable to attend the meeting.

New Players...We Need Your Help
|
|
In order to get you cued into our way of doing things, we need for you to first let us know you are interested in being a member of our program. While you can do this anytime, the sooner the better: this way we can let you know when all things Linn-Mar Soccer are coming up.
We have a variety of ways to let you know, including Facebook, Twitter, Email and Texts. Use the links and pages provided to signup to be a part of these methods, but MOST importantly, use the New Player Registration Form to let us know who you are! (found under the Current Players menu above)
